چکیده
Abstract Nanostructured 0.52 Bi 2 O 3 –0.18 Fe –0.30 PbTiO (BFPT) mol% sample was prepared via a high-energy planetary ball mill. To obtain nanostructured materials, the mixture mechanically milled for 1, 2, 5, and 25 h. The heat treating process applied to BFPT at 673, 873, 1073 K 5 amorphous natures of as-milled crystallized formed phases treated samples are examined using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. HRTEM XRD were used confirm nature nanocrystallization samples, respectively. effect heat-treatment temperature on their dc electrical conductivity (σ), density (ρ), oxygen molar volume (V m ) studied. results thermoelectric power indicate p-type semiconducting behavior samples. high (above θ D /2) dependent explicated by small polaron hopping (SPH) model. Study on the Thermal Conductivity Characteristics of Graphene Prepared by the Planetary Ball Mill
This study was designed to examine the physical disintegration of graphene (GN), an excellent heat conductor, by using the planetary ball mill, a simple and convenient means to produce particles arbitrarily. The conditions for the disintegration of GN were distinguished by the rotation of the planetary ball mill (200 rpm, 400 rpm, and 600 rpm) and by the duration of its operation (30 min, 60 mi...
متن کاملSmall polaron hopping in spinel manganates
The temperature dependence of small polaron hopping conduction in ceramic spinel NiMn2O4+ thermistor material has been investigated. We used a theoretical framework based on a random resistor network model to describe small polaron nearest-neighbor hopping NNH and variable range hopping VRH , following the principles of Shklovskii and Efros. We find that in printed thick films and in pressed pe...
متن کاملSmall Polaron Hopping Conduction in Samples of Ceramic La1·4Sr1·6Mn2O7·06
The ceramic sample of La1 ·4Sr1 ·6Mn2O7 ·06 exhibits the metal–insulator transition and a negative magnetoresistance in the vicinity of the Curie temperature (TC ' 100 K). The dc magnetic susceptibility between 100 K and 280 K is nearly constant and decreases gradually with increasing temperature above 280 K. The measurements of dc resistivity and the thermoelectric power indicate that small po...
متن کاملTheory of small-polaron band conduction in ultrapure organic crystals
We present a novel theory of charge-carrier mobilities in organic molecular crystals of high purity. Our approach is based on Holstein’s original concept of small-polaron bands but generalized with respect to the inclusion of nonlocal electron-phonon coupling. We derive an explicit expression for the mobilities as a function of temperature and, using ab-initio methods to obtain the material par...
متن کاملIon Transport Properties of the Inverse Perovskite BaLiF3 Prepared by High-Energy Ball Milling
For many applications such as advanced energy storage systems, chemical sensors or electrochromic devices fast ionic conduction plays an important role. In many cases, see e.g., Refs. [1-3], nanocrystal-line ceramics with crystallite diameters smaller than 50 nm show an enhanced ion conductivity compared to their coarse-grained counterparts, i.e., single crystals or materials with µm-sized part...
